TheraVitae's Stem Cell Technology |
| Our delivery process is simple but the underlying technology is complex. The patient provides as little as a cup of blood in a sample similar to a Red Cross blood donation. From this blood, our researchers isolate and remove the stem cells. We grow and multiply these cells in vitro, increasing their numbers from 20,000 to 20 million in just 5 days. The cells are then sorted by their ability to regenerate blood vessels then transplanted back into the patient where they repair the heart muscle and surrounding blood vessels. Over 75% of our patients show substantial improvement and many go on to become volunteers to help educate others. Although we currently only use our VesCell™ stem cell treatment therapy to treat heart disease and peripheral artery disease (PAD), we believe that this revolutionary treatment has the potential to cure or mitigate many other degenerative diseases.
